The signature is verifiable on-device via Android Settings — the issuer must read "T20Sports Authority Pvt Ltd". If the signature is missing or shows a different issuer, do not install. Sideloading also lets users on restricted devices - locked bootloaders, government-issued phones, work-managed devices - install the app where Play Store access is blocked. The APK installs the same way the Play Store version does and uses the same backend. Your KYC, your wallet, your fantasy teams, and your captain history are identical regardless of where you installed from. The only difference: APK installs receive manual update notifications, not auto-update. We recommend checking our GitHub mirror at minimum once a month for newer builds and security patches.

The install flow has five steps and takes under three minutes on most devices. Download the 12.4 MB file (saves to /Downloads), enable Unknown Sources for your file manager, tap the APK, review the permission list, tap Install. Most installs complete in under 30 seconds. After install, toggle off Unknown Sources for security hygiene. The app launches into the four-step setup wizard covering notifications, permissions, favourite T20 leagues, and KYC pre-fill.
