During those 30 days you can cancel the deletion. After 30 days, the deletion is permanent and your data is purged from active systems within 7 days. Backups are rotated out within 90 days. Balance in your wallet is refunded to your verified bank account before deletion completes. This page takes 60 seconds to read and the confirmation step takes another 60 seconds — total 2 minutes.
Step-by-step deletion flow
Step 1: log in to your account. Step 2: navigate to Settings > Account > Delete account. Step 3: read the consequences summary. Step 4: confirm via OTP sent to your registered mobile. Step 5: account enters 30-day cooling-off — you can log in and cancel, but cannot enter contests or withdraw more than your existing balance. Step 6: after 30 days, deletion is final.
What happens to your balance
Unwithdrawn balance is refunded to your verified bank account within 7 working days of the deletion confirmation. Refund amounts above ₹10,000 have TDS deducted per Section 194BA — you receive Form 16A within 30 days of financial year-end for the deducted amount.
