Disclosure - T20Sports Fantasy
T20Sports Fantasy regulatory disclosures: FIFS membership, state permits, operating entity, audit firm, insurance.
Material relationships
This disclosure page lists every material relationship between T20Sports Authority Private Limited and third parties that could influence our content, predictions, contest rules, or captain recommendations. We publish this list openly because transparency is a core platform value and because regulators and informed players expect it. Material relationships include sponsored content, paid partnerships, advertising arrangements, and any commercial agreement that creates a financial incentive for us to recommend a specific action on the platform.
T20Sports Fantasy partners with broadcast rights holders for ball-by-ball data feeds (our scoring partner provides live scores within 800ms of every delivery), payment processors for KYC and withdrawals (UPI, RuPay, Visa, Mastercard, Net Banking), and identity verification providers for KYC document checks. None of these partners dictate our content, predictions, captain analytics, or contest rules. We retain full editorial control over all team-selection recommendations and captain picks. Our payout multipliers and contest mechanics are set by our product team, not by any partner.
We occasionally publish sponsored content in the form of "tournament preview" articles, "T20 tips" videos, or "series recap" features in collaboration with broadcast partners. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled with a "Sponsored" or "In partnership with" tag at the top of the article. We never accept payment in exchange for favorable captain picks, contest rule changes, or platform rankings. If you find any content where this line has been crossed, please email [email protected] and our compliance team will investigate.
The FIFS (Federation of Indian Fantasy Sports) industry body has a code of conduct that members must follow regarding advertising standards, player protection, and dispute resolution. T20Sports Authority is a registered FIFS member since June 2023 and complies with all FIFS advertising and disclosure requirements. We file quarterly compliance reports to FIFS covering contest integrity, KYC enforcement, and responsible play statistics. The compliance reports are public on our transparency page.

Algorithm & Fair Play
Scoring algorithm
Our scoring algorithm is published openly on the website. Same formula across all contests - no differentiation by user.
Anti-cheat measures
Multi-accounting detection, coordinated play detection, automated play detection. All violators suspended.
External audit
Annual independent audit by S.R. Batliboi covers KYC compliance, player fund segregation, and contest fairness.
T20Sports Fantasy discloses all material affiliations in line with FIFS Code of Conduct. We have no commercial relationships with cricket boards, franchises, or players that would create a conflict of interest in fantasy scoring. Our scoring data partner is an independent third party (Sportradar-equivalent in Asia) whose data we license for live ball-by-ball feeds.
The fantasy scoring formula is published openly on our how-to-play page. We do not modify scoring based on user, contest, or stakes. The only customization is per-format (T20 vs ODI vs Test) which is industry-standard. Contests with guaranteed prize pools are mathematically guaranteed - the prize pool is set aside in escrow at contest creation time and cannot be modified mid-contest.

Editorial Disclosure
How we make money, what we recommend, where the bias lives
T20Sports Fantasy operates on the standard fantasy sports rake model โ we keep 10-18% of contest entry pools as platform fee. Editorial content (predictions, captain picks, reviews) is provided free and we do not receive payment or compensation from any third party (player, team, league, or broadcaster) for editorial coverage. Our prediction engine uses historical performance data licensed from CricketData API. Statistics and player performance data cited on this site are public-domain information aggregated for fantasy decision-making.
Revenue model and rake transparency
We charge 10% on head-to-head contests, 12-15% on small-field contests, and 15-18% on mega contests. Rake covers contest prize pool reduction, platform operating costs, KYC processing fees, payment gateway fees (1.5-2% on cards), and customer support. No hidden fees. Every contest card displays the exact rake and payout structure before you join. Entry fee minus rake = the prize pool.
Editorial independence
Our content team does not accept gifts, hospitality, paid placements, or affiliate commissions from any cricket board, franchise, broadcaster, player agent, or sportsbook. Predictions and captain picks are based on the same prediction engine used by all users โ there is no "premium tier" with different picks. Operators of the platform have no editorial role; the content team reports to a separate compliance officer.
Affiliates and referral partners
We run a referral program that pays โน50 bonus credit for each successful referee signup (subject to 1x wagering). Affiliate partners (sports news sites, cricket bloggers) earn up to โน100 cash per signup meeting 1x wagering. Affiliate commissions do NOT influence editorial coverage. Affiliate links are tagged with ?ref= parameters for transparent attribution; we disclose every affiliate we pay.
Data sources and licensing
Cricket match data: licensed via CricketData API (per-ball commentary, scorecards, player statistics). Player statistics: aggregated from public sources (ESPN Cricinfo, Cricbuzz) and CricketData. Venue data: aggregated from our own match-attendance plus venue reports. Odds and betting lines: not used in our prediction engine โ we are a skill-game operator, not a sportsbook.
Pre-Toss Prep
Pull the latest squad update 60 minutes before the toss. Confirm playing XI, watch impact-player designation, lock your selections before the deadline.
In-Match Adjust
Substitutions are locked at toss. After that, only your captain multiplier moves โ every run, wicket, and catch updates instantly on the live feed.
Post-Match Review
Check the points statement within 9 minutes of the final ball. Disputes must be raised within 24 hours through customer care with the match-ID reference.

How we make money, what we recommend, and our conflicts policy
T20Sports Fantasy operates on a contest rake model โ we keep 10-18% of contest entry pools as platform fee. No hidden fees, no affiliate-driven editorial, no surprise rake changes. Every contest card displays the exact prize pool and entry fee before you join. Our editorial coverage is independent of platform operations: the content team reports to a compliance officer, not to operations or marketing.
Revenue model and rake transparency
Head-to-head contests: 10% rake. Small-field (2-10 players): 12-15% rake. Mega contests (10,000+ entries): 15-18% rake. Industry median: 12-20% across all formats. Our 10-18% range is at the low end. Every contest card on the contests list shows entry fee, prize pool, winning distribution, and rake percentage before you join. No last-screen disclosure, no surprise deductions.
Editorial independence policy
Our cricket editorial team does not accept compensation from any cricket board, franchise, broadcaster, player agent, sportsbook, or affiliate network. Predictions and captain picks use the same prediction engine and same statistical methodology available to every user. There is no "premium tier" with different picks โ Captain picks for free and Captain picks for paid users are identical.
Data and source disclosure
Cricket data: CricketData API (per-ball commentary, scorecards). Statistics: aggregated from ESPN Cricinfo, Cricbuzz, and CricketData. Venue data: aggregated from official venue reports and our own match-attendance database. Betting lines and odds are not used โ we are a skill-game operator, not a sportsbook. All cited statistics are public-domain or properly licensed. Editorial corrections are issued with a dated note when source data is updated.
